The M48A5 Patton is an American tier 10 medium tank.

A modification of the M48 tank of 1970, developed to modernize the remaining M48 tanks in service up to the M60 tank's level. The modification featured a new engine, armament, and fire control system. Apart from armor protection, the 2,570 upgraded vehicles were practically indistinguishable from the M60 that featured the same armament and engine.

The M48A5 Patton is another example of a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none tank like its predecessors. It possesses a smooth, egg-shaped hull and a curved turret with decent frontal thickness. Its armor is stronger than most mediums of its tiers and will deflect a surprising amount of shots from its peers if hull down. The 105mm M68 is an extremely versatile weapon, with high penetration, damage, and rate-of-fire. While it is a clear improvement in firepower over the M46 Patton, the M48A5 will face opponents with equal or even superior survivability.

It is also slightly slower than its predecessor, due to its heavier weight and weaker engine. In addition, the M48A5 is also a very large tank, even larger than the T110E5 heavy tank. However, it compensates for that with its reasonable amount of maneuverability and great traverse, at 50 degrees per second. Furthermore, the gun depression is still satisfactory at 9 degrees, though not as effective as the M46 Patton due to its middle turret placement. This makes it suited for close to mid-range combat, darting in and out of cover or a crest, firing shots at the enemy before they can fire back.

The M48A5 Patton marks the end of its American medium line.

The T25 Pilot Number 1 is an American tier 8 premium medium tank.

Developed by the United States Army Ordnance Corps on the basis of the mass-produced T23 tank with a 90-mm gun and reinforced armor. After the creation of two prototypes, 40 other vehicles were manufactured.

The T25 Pilot is, in its own right, a combination of both the M26 Pershing and the T20; players familiar with the playstyles of both of these tanks will feel right at home with the T25 Pilot. The T25 Pilot, compared to other tier 8 premium mediums, is a very well rounded tank, it is a Jack-of-all-Trades much like the Pershing and combines a good mix of average (Or slightly above average in some aspects) mobility, armor, and firepower. Whereas, for example, the CDC trades armor for exceptional mobility or the T-54 Mod. 1 trades mobility for armor. The T25 will not last long on its own due to its poor (Though not horrible) armor, and works best in a medium tank wolf pack or as a mid-range sniper, preferably shooting over a ridge only exposing its reasonably well armored turret. As for its credit making potential, its fast-firing 90mm as well as its bouncy turret should earn the player a respectable sum. One last thing to note is that the T25 travels 7 km/h faster than the Pershing (55 km/h,) and this speed advantage makes the T25 much more flexible at repositioning and escaping from sticky situations.

The Type 59 is a Chinese tier 8 premium medium tank.

Chinese medium tank. Initially, the vehicle was a copy of the Soviet medium T-54A tank. The Type 59 entered service in 1959. The first tanks manufactured had no gun stabilizer or night-vision device. Later the vehicle underwent several modernizations. Between 6,000 and 9,500 vehicles of all variants were manufactured from 1958 through 1987.

This tank was removed from the in-game store on 16 January 2012. The decision was made "to ensure a healthy gameplay balance at higher tiers, and also to encourage a wider variety of tier 8 medium tank usage." It last appeared in the gift shop in August 2012. Though not available for traditional purchase, it frequently is the reward for first place in official competitions and tournaments.

Considered one of the best tier 8 premium tanks, it combines decent armor with good 'hard' gun statistics and acceptable mobility. Though acceleration is not very good it has a high top speed and can flank enemy tanks easily. It does lose speed quite easily in turns though so circling opponents might be somewhat difficult. Because of its large spread of features and lack of specialization, the Type 59 fills the 'pocket heavy' role of the tier VIII premiums and very often performs better than expected in 1-on-1 fights with tier VIII mediums and light tanks.

The Super Conqueror is a British tier 10 heavy tank.

A variant of the Conqueror tank with extra armor protection. Manufactured during the first half of the 50s and used for testing the Dart and Malkara guided anti-tank missiles. During testing, the vehicle played the role of a heavy tank that could potentially appear in the future. Never saw mass-production.

Replaced FV215b in 9.20.1 patch. The Super Conqueror is basically the Conqueror covered with very thick spaced armor. It is less similar to American counterparts due the fact that its hull can take much more damage, and it has capabilities to angle the hull which makes it much harder to penetrate. But, oddly similar to German Super-Heavy tanks, its lower plate is a weak spot and is easily penetrated if not covered or not angling your hull correctly.

The Super Conqueror marks the end of its British heavy line.

The WZ-120-1G FT is a Chinese tier 8 premium tank destroyer.

Variant of a tank destroyer based on the Type 59 medium tank (plant designation WZ-120) that entered service in 1959. Existed only in blueprints.

The T69 is an American tier 8 medium tank.

A prototype with an oscillating turret and an automatic loading system developed at the beginning of 1955 and based on the T42 experimental medium tank. The vehicle underwent trials from June 1955 through April 1956. The vehicle never entered mass production or saw service.

The T69 medium tank is similar to the French AMX 13 90. Although it is a bit slower, it has more armor and more concentrated firepower. This increases the chances of players bouncing rounds off of it, allowing some players to take on tier 9 mediums in this tank. However, the top gun only holds 4 rounds in a magazine, meaning you have to pick your fights.

The T69 leads to the T54E1.

The Object 430 is a Soviet tier 9 medium tank.

A prototype of this medium tank was developed from 1953 through 1957 to replace the T-54. Soviet authorities wanted a tank with greater nuclear survivability and firepower, so in 1961 the project was discontinued in favor of the Object 432. Several prototypes of the vehicle were manufactured.

The Object 430 leads to the Object 430U.
Pros:
- Higher alpha damage and standard round penetration than the other Soviet Tier IX meds
- Excellent camo rating, better than the Batchat 25 t
- Highly sloped hull armor is respectable for a medium tank, even by tier X standards
- Highest HP pool of any tier IX MT (1800), combined with rather small profile and decent protection increasing its survivablity furthur
- Good soft stats
- One of the easiest grinds in the game; only tracks and 1 engine need to be researched
- Modules are quite tough, and rarely do you lose something valuable
Cons:
- Turret is not as well-armored as its brothers, the armor zones are weaker, roof is very weak
-Subpar gun handling and rather low shell velocity, couldn't really snipe or support from afar
- Mediocre gun depression
- Low engine power and slightly worse top speed than its two counterparts

The Bat.-Châtillon 25 t is a French tier 10 medium tank.

A medium tank with an oscillating turret and a 90 mm gun. Developed by Batignolles-Châtillon in the mid-1950s. Two prototypes were manufactured. The vehicle never entered mass production.

Built by Batignolles-Châtillon society at Nantes, the Batignolles-Châtillon 25t, often known in-game as the "Batmobile" or "Batchat", lives up to its reputation as one of the game's best assassin tanks, fit for many roles which include but are not limited to Scout, Sniper (when using the 100 mm SA 47 gun), Flanker, Brawler and Artillery hunter, with a high mobility and powerful gun it's capable of devastating any tank that it encounters.

Keep in mind that once your shell drum is depleted (5 or 6 shells, depending on the gun), the gruesome reloading time will make you a very easy prey, and the very thin armor will not save you from any kind of shell as it relies on its mobility as a sort of protection. It also has rather poor aim time so you need to get close while moving or stay hidden to fully utilize its awesome cannon. While it can hold ground on its own, it is best used on high-risk high-gain encounters in the mid-late part of the round, preferably with another medium tank as support.

The Bat.-Châtillon 25 t marks the end of its French medium line.

The TVP T 50/51 is a Czechoslovakian tier 10 medium tank.

A joint project by Škoda and ČKD. Discussions to determine the tank’s characteristics started on January 14, 1950, but the project was discontinued on March 4, 1950 by the Czechoslovakian Ministry of Defense. No prototypes were manufactured. Existed only in blueprints.

The TVP is very fast and mobile, has a low full magazine reload (compared to other tier 10 autoloaders) and an insane reload between each magazine. The tank is often compared to the Bat.-Châtillon 25 t as they both share the same lowest hit points of any tier 10, both have dangerous autoloaders and are both very fast; both excel in certain categories. For instance the BatChat has much more magazine potential damage (1950) while the TVP only has a (1280) magazine potetinial. You might think that the BatChat is a clear winner but although the BatChat can deal more damage, it does it over a longer period of time (10.73 seconds from the first shot) while the TVP on the other hand deals its full magazine out in only 4.5 seconds from the first shot. 4.5 seconds is quicker than every other non-autoloader tier 10 tank in the game. So if you shoot a TVP and you are not equipped in an autoloader, then expect 1280 of your hit points gone before you can even get a chance to fire another shell back at it (unless you can get in cover of course).

The gun is what makes the tank, it's fast, it's accurate and the full magazine reload is not bad at all.

The TVP is a tricky tank to play but in the hands of a skilled player it can be your worst nightmare.


The TVP T 50/51 marks the end of its Czechoslovakian medium line.

K-91: Leading from the Object 430 Variant II, the K-91 has a small silhouette, boasts sharpshooting accuracy and super shell velocity amongst many others. However, this Tier X has no real armor and doesn’t have great alpha damage.

The HT Mini-Line
Object 277: Following in the footsteps of the T-10, the Object 277 boasts an aggressive nature and great protection combined with higher DPM, alpha, and penetration. But be careful, both the Commander’s hatch and lower armor plate are vulnerable and it doesn’t boast great all-round armor like its other heavy Soviet counterparts.
