In Mousesteps Weekly #166, we talk all about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom!

First, we head to Storybook Circus where we meet Jack Skellington as Sandy Claws, who begins meeting Party guests at 5:00 p.m. Nearby, Scrooge McDuck, Donald, Daisy and Minnie meet in their holiday finest! They begin at 7:00 p.m.

We stop for holiday treats, which are included with Party admission.

Elsa lights Cinderella Castle before and after the Party begins (2 shows). This is a must-see during the season.

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade offers few changes this year. Duffy the Disney Bear is no longer in the parade, and Vanellope now drivers the race car (gingerbread themed). We had a great view from in front of the Christmas tree, looking down to Cinderella Castle. "Frozen" is back again for a second year, with Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff.

We show Holiday Wishes from that location, which is not the viewing area we would recommend (we share our recommendations).

Lighting looks lovely around the Magic Kingdom, and we encourage a walk around the park. We watched the rain version of "A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas" on the first night, and the full version on the second evening we attended.

New this year to "Celebrate the Season" are three polar bears. The horses are out.

Next, we visit Mickey Mouse in his holiday outfit. He is quite animated, so to speak (and talkative!)

We take a few last looks at Magic Kingdom decorations at night.
